I found this cute little bunny while surfing craft porn this AM...what a cute little treat to add to an Easter basket, or even to the front of a card (preferably that you don't have to mail).  THANKS to whoopsie daisy again for sharing...

EARS - "Pick a Petal" stamp set
FACE - Scalloped Circle punch
NOSE - Ticket corner punch
Sponge in Pink Pirouette for the ears and nose
BLUSH -Sponge dauber in Pink Pirouette
WHISKERS - Chocolate Chip strips
EYES - Chocolate Chip markers

Sandwich between one Peppermint Patty using glue dots and you are done!

Happy O' Birthday!

I saw this card idea in one of our SU demo magazines, and thought it was super-cute!  How simple, but nifty to use the new heart punch to make a clover.  The original idea was a clover card celebrating St. Patty's Day...and then I didn't really have anyone to give a St. Patty's Day card to...AND THEN, I remembered a friend who had a birthday a few days before St. Patty's, and was exceptionally Irish in almost every way...So I made this card for her.  Enjoy!

The greeting and the inside of the brad are rub-ons, not stamped...if you haven't discovered rub-ons yet, YOU NEED TO!  Especially convenient for quick cards, those who like a nice crisp somethin' somethin' on their projects.  The inside said Happy Birthday, but I forgot to take a pic before I gave the card to its rightful owner.

 

St. Patty's Day share

Every now and then us 'creative stamping types' get together and talk about well, what else? Stamping, card-making, paper hoarding and craft porn surfing.  So one of the lovely ladies brought this cute little St. Patty's Day treat box for us all to make - thanks Kathleen Bender!...so I thought I would share it with you all:

This basically uses the Sizzix BIGZ Scallop circle die for your BIG SHOT die cutting machine to create this little treat box (secret box-making technique...heh heh...I'll spill the beans another time).  Add a little clear bag full of treats and voila!  Maybe some little cholcate gold coins and you have a custom pot o' gold! Could EASILY be a card too...

I have another cute card with a similar theme to share with you, but it will have to wait until tomorrow or Sunday so I can give it to the person it was intended for! lol..Happy Weekend!

Next...A clear envelope brag book!

I've seen this idea floating around Splitcoast for a while, so I thought I would try it.  SUPER CUTE!  Especially since clear envelopes are really affordable (you can put as many as you like inside, this one only has three) AND there are some parental occasions coming up where this could be your gift, or even your card (mothers and fathers day...).  The pics I took aren't the greatest, sorry, I'm still trying to get a handle on my blog photos....

I found this card design on a blog I can't remember, but I HAD to copy it A) because I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set, and B) it takes me outside of my usual 'safe' card design colours.  When was the last time you made a card "outside your box"?

Nap Time Creations: Project #1

Well, it seems like the ONLY time I ever get to stamp on my own now is during nap time, so I've created a new blog category called "nap time creations".  It's actually a BIG thing that I can actually craft during nap time since Erin used to only nap about 30 mins in a row!

Here's the first installment of nap time creations:  A beautiful box created using four of the scallop envelopes created using the Bigz die for the Big Shot.  Love it!!  Thanks to Whoopsie Daisy for the idea!
